This week's news:Published Wednesday, August 25, 1999 in the Nevada County PicayuneMorris Baptist Church had service at Hillcrest Care and Rehab Sunday afternoon. Regular fourth Thursday singing will be Thursday evening at 7:00 at Morris Baptist Church. School has again begun. Teachers Janice Callicott, Carolyn Hicks, Lera Bradley and Janet Steed, all from our area, began Monday. Pat McCullough moved to Kilbourne, La., in time to get her kids in school there. Fifth Sunday fellowship and potluck will be at Morris this coming Sunday after morning services. Bro. Tal Webb begins a new semester at Minden this week. He and his family and Bro. Junior and Ann Loe and Lucy Glass had lunch with Sidney Steed Sunday before going to the nursing home for afternoon services. Pat McCullough and family of Kelbourne, La., visited her parents and other friends and relatives in the Caney community Sunday. Don and Peggy Fain of Camden visited her parents, Bro.
