Last week's news:Published Wednesday, August 25, 1999 in the Nevada County PicayuneWe were very pleased to have good attendance Sunday morning at Morris Baptist Church. Bro. Tal's parents, Donald and Margaret Webb, were among the many visitors. Morris Baptist extended the use of our baptistry to Mt. Zion Sunday evening. Bro. Troy Harrison, Mt. Zion, delivered the message at Morris and baptized a young lady who was saved at their revival last week. We missed Pat McCullough and her children, Tim and Leah, Sunday. They moved to be with her husband, Kenny, who works in Eudora. My daughters, Janice, Phyllis and Amy, and I visited Bill Ed and Glenda in Hope this week. They came up from Orange, Texas, for the Watermelon Festival. Grace Callicott was rushed to the hospital Wednesday with an asthma attack and other complications, but she was able to be in church Sunday. Powel Cross is in the hospital.
