Basketball Schedule Is Given

The Prescott basketball teams have released their schedule for this season. Some games have already been played.

The two Prescott senior teams always come up against stiff competition in the 7AA Confer- ence, but they each will have a good shot at the title this year.

The Wolverettes are most impressive and will be likely to go a long way in the state play-offs.

The schedule follows an asterisk (*) beside the school name indi- cates a conference game.

TOURNAMENTS

The first tournament for any Prescott team will be coming up the last of this month when the two junior teams will be competing in the Blevins Junior Invitaitonal. Finals for that tourney are set for Saturday, December 6.

Both senior teams are set to play in the Mena Classic December 4, 5 and 6. Mena will be included in the 7AAA Conference next year along with Prescott and other current 7AA schools.

December 3-10 the Curley Wolves and Wolverettes will be playing at Saratoga in the Southwest Arkansas Classic, one of the most prestigious invitational tournaments in the state.

The two junior teams are scheduled to play in the Lockesburg Invitational December 10-17.

Prescott's senior boys and girls are to play in the Christmas Classic at Nashville during the holidays De- cember 27, 29 and 30.

The Junior High District Tourn- ament is scheduled for February 7, 12 and 14, site not announced yet.

Prescott will host the Senior District Tournament February 16, 18, 20 and 21.

March 3-7 are the dates set for Class AA State Tournament, site to be announced.

March 12 and 13 will be the state finals.
