OBU Concert TelevisedPublished Wednesday, December 10, 1997 in the Gurdon TimesA statewide television audience will have the opportunity to hear an hour long program of Christmas music performed by students at Ouachita Baptist University. The program will be shown on KARK Television on Christmas morning from 9:00 to 10:00. Titled "A Festival of Christmas," the taped show will feature highlights of one of Ouachita's most popular campus attractions, the annual Festival of Christmas program that was performed live in early December on the stage of Jones Performing Arts Center at OBU. "A Festival of Christmas" will feature various performance groups from within the division of music and department of theater arts at OBU, performing both religious and secular Christmas favorites.
