Bobbie Jean GatesPublished Wednesday, December 10, 1997 in the Gurdon TimesBobbie Jean Gates, 42, of Chidester died Wednesday, December 3. Mrs. Gates was a Baptist. Survivors include two sons, Jerry Gates and Jason Gates, both of Gurdon; two daughters Donyell Gates of Camden and Mandy Korenek of Prescott; her mother, Daisy Johnson of Nashville; three brothers, George Hardin Jones Jr. of California, Ralph England of Mineral Springs and Clifford England of Palestine, Texas; two sisters, Margaret Bibby of El Dorado and Catherine Chaney of Nashville; four grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Services were Sunday, December 7, at Proctor Funeral Home in Camden with burial in Bethesda Cemetery. Proctor Funeral home in Camden was in charge of arrangements.
