Arthur Ross WilsonPublished Wednesday, December 10, 1997 in the Gurdon TimesArthur Ross Wilson, 83, of Hollywood died Monday, December 1, 1997, at Baptist Medical Center in Arkadelphia. Mr. Wilson was born September 13, 1914, in Hollywood, the son of the late Ernie and Gertie Teaque Wilson. He as a parts salesman for Ford Tractor and Equipment and a member of Hollywood Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Gwendean Feimster Wilson. Survivors include one son, David Wilson of Arkadelphia; a daughter, Patsy Lynn Cooper of Boston, Mass.; four grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Funeral services were held at Friday, December 5, at Third Street Baptist Church in Arkadelphia with Gary Turner officiating. Interment was in the Rest Haven Memorial Gardens under the direction of Murry-Ruggles Funeral Home of Arkadelphia. Memorials may be made to Hollywood Methodist Church. Pallbearers were Billy Wilson, Bud Scoll, Joe Harris, Johnny Shope, and Jack Anderson. Honorary Pallbearers were Gene Watson, Johnny McAnally and J.A. Beard.
