Dennis Hicks and his mother Carolyn, spent the weekend in Dallas, Texas. Dennis attended a supper given for his colleagues. Carolyn and Dennis also visited Carolyn's nephew, Kevin Karmel.

'Red' and Retta McBride, Dorothy Apel, Margie Reed and I attended the SAMS Christmas party at Western Sizzlin in Hope Thursday.

Junior and Ann Loe and Travis and Lifton Cearley attended funeral services for Bobby Hicks in Mountain Home Saturday.

Thursday night singing at Morris Baptist will be called off this week only because of the holidays.

Members of Morris Baptist Church delivered over 100 Christmas fruit bags Sunday afternoon. These went to church members and neighbors in the Caney community. Members received great joy in preparing and delivering these bags.

Carol Glass went to Mountain Home Saturday with her dad, Dean May, for the funeral service of Bobby Stokes.

J.W., Maxine and Lucy Glass joined the (Wicker descendant) cousins at the home of Dale and Ethel Ellis for potluck supper Thursday evening.

Mat Tucker and his friend, Mitzie Brown, visited her mother in Austin, Texas, last week.

Bobbie Morrow of Ft. Worth, Texas, arrived Monday to spend a few days with her daughter, Gail Tucker, and her family.
