Nevada County Approved For AssistancePublished Wednesday, December 23, 1998 in the Nevada County PicayuneHempstead and Nevada Counties have been approved for the Livestock Assistance Program. This program covers producers who suffered losses from natural disasters in 1998. It provides a partial reimbursement to eligible producers for grazing losses. The sign up period has been extended to February 5. Contact the Hempstead/Nevada County Farm Service Agency office for application information.
