The Prescott Extension Homemakers Club met Wednesday, December 16, at the Extension building at 1:30 p.m. This was the club's Christmas party. Hazel Paden had charge of the party of 15 members and two visitors.

Those present were Jean Crayton, Geraldine Jefferson, Laura Meeks, Mary Colbert, Stela Mae VanHook, Geneva Gulley, Romana Block, Hattie Mae Sandifer, Thelma Henry, Lucile McDuffy, Hazel Paden, Opal Hall, Ruth Ingram, Elizabeth Bozman, Annie Mae Feats and Helen Morris.

Everyone enjoyed the group singing Christmas carols.

Most everyone told a Christmas story and read poems and Christmas stories and cute Christmas jokes. Those present enjoyed a delicious potluck dinner. All of the food was good. The Prescott club has a lot of good cooks.

We are interested in getting new members. Anyone who is interested in joining may call 887- 2818 for more information. The club normally meets the last Wednesday of the month.
