Christmas is just around the corner. I am sure everyone will be happy to see Christmas once again.

We are having a lot sickness and death. Mrs. Viola Blackely passed away Friday. Her funeral will be Saturday at Harrison Chapel Baptist Church.

Mrs. Johnnie Marsh is still in the hospital in Texarkana. She is missed around Rosston. She is a very smart person.

Mrs. Gena Burnell is in the hospital in Texarkana in ICU. Let's pray for her. Her daughter, Gracie Howell, is in the hospital in Little Rock.

The Christmas program was held at Cana A.M.E. Church Sunday. A Christmas program was held at Oak Grove Baptist also.

The O.E.S election was held Saturday. The following officers were elected: De Willie Gulley, patron; Benora Box, worshipful master; Lula Q. Kendrick, associate matron; Margie Haynie, secretary; and Vera Purifoy, treasurer. Others were appointed by Sis. Box.
