Rosston Church would like to thank each one who attended our singing on Saturday night. We had almost a house full and the Infinite Grace Quartet of Camden did a super job as well as soloist Shelby Keith of Hope and soloist Angel Renfro of Camden and Jane Glasscock's quartet of McNeil. Dale Lindsey of Camden was our emcee and his sister Irene played the piano and was accompanied by Zane Glasscock on the guitar. Bro. Ray Bowman of Bodcaw rendered several solos and Jeff and Tara Carlton of Rosston rendered several duets. More than 20 churches were represented. We hope to someday have another singing like this one. The ladies of the church served refreshments to the singers afterward.

My brother and his wife, Billy and Minnie Ella Schmitt, of Hope were our supper guests before the singing.

Joe and Virginia Dillard attended a banquet at the School of Hope on Saturday night and Joe was pleasantly surprised with an award for his work at the school.

A.B. and Maxine Luck will travel to Little Rock tomorrow Monday where their daughter Darla Wise will have surgery. A.B. has a doctor appointment in Little Rock so remember them in your prayers.

Carl and Brenda Vanderveer of Texarkana flew to Midland, Texas, last week to locate them a house. State Farm Insurance is transferring Carl. They found a house to buy and will soon be moving. Our grandson, Marty Williams, is buying their house in Texarkana.

Dot Broussard, Ruth Vinson, Sue Dixon, A.B. and Maxine Luck and Roscoe and I attended the monthly singing at Morris Baptist Church on Thursday night and enjoyed it very much.

Ronnie and Vera Lee Dixon of Carthage, Texas, were our guests in church today. They are visiting Jim, Mona and Sue Dixon.
