Willie has had a problem with a diverticulum the last few days. Our son, Willie Hugh, and wife Carolyn spent Friday night and Saturday with us. Willie Hugh spent the weekend. Other visitors were J.D. and Mary Ann Lucas, Roy and Syble Brown, Anna Mae Hooks, Donald Crane, Cherrie Wilson and Mozelle Gill.

Doyle Everett and Elva Jane Hooks of Fort Worth, Texas, spent Thursday with his mother, Cathrine Hooks, and with Mae Blount.

Helen Buie and her daughter, Bobby, and Connie and granddaughter, Lorain, visited her mother-in-law and grandmother, Ruby Buie, in Beverly Health and Rehab and her sisters, Faye House and husband Lenord, Louise Crayne and Ruth Newth, Wednesday.

We extend our sympathy to the family of Louise Haynie. She passed away after a lengthy illness.

Mildred White is still having health problems. She is in Hillcrest Care and Rehab at this time.

Lela House remains seriously ill in St. Michael Hospital in Texarkana.

We have received word of the death of Mae Dickinson of Florida. Graveside services will be Wed-nesday morning at 10 o'clock in Piney Grove Cemetery. Mae was raised in our community and spent several years of her life here.

Sue Austin had a tooth removed Wednesday in Little Rock. Elsie Elmore spent a couple days with Sue's mothe,r Katie Pittman.

Those visiting Chloe Orren, other than family, were her pastor, Bro. Jerry Smith, Jason Anderson, Shorty Garner and Freddie Garner.

Bro. Bennie Blount preached at Boughton Church Sunday.

Wilma Otwell and daughter, Subrena, visited Katie Pittman and Sue Austin Friday afternoon.
