Traczewitz, Flint Exchange Vows

Wedding vows were exchanged between Tara Lea Traczewitz and Mark David Flint at six o'clock in the evening, Saturday, November 29, at First Presbyterian Church in Little Rock.

The Rev. Martin H. Jacobsen of St. Charles, Mo., officiated.

Parents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. Terrence A. Traczewitz of Prescott.

Grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. John H. Waters of Winnfield, La., and Mr. and Mrs. Oscar G. Traczewitz of Pt. Clear, Ala.

Parents of the groom are Mr. and Mrs. David L. Flint of Prairie Village, Kan.

Grandmother of the groom is Mrs. Marshall Biggerstaff of Lawrence, Kan.

The couple repeated their vows before brass candelabra adorned with stock, larkspur, champagne and viginia roses, delphinium, heather and mixed greenery. Flanked on either side of the alter area were antique marble urns with matching arrangements.

Pews and brass candle wall sconces were decorated with trailing plumosa and sprengeri greenery accented with ribbon.

Grapevine wreaths on entry doors decorated with tulle and ribbon welcomed wedding guests.

A program of wedding music was presented by Scott Seidenschwarz, organist.

Misses Sally Goodsell of Warren and Jenny Traczewitz of Daphne, Ala., were candle lighters.

Grandmothers and mothers of the couple were ushered in to Bach's "Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring." Soloist Ashley DeWoody of Prescott began the service with "The Wedding Song" sung to piano accompaniment.

During the ceremony, bridesmaid Angie Hunnicutt of Arkadelphia, sang "I Will Be Here" and bridesmaid, Ashley Traczewitz of Daphne, Ala., ended the service with "The Lord's Prayer."

The bride, presented for marriage by her father, chose a gown of Dupioni silk with a fitted bodice, overlaid with reembroidered Alencon lace, seed pearls and iridescent. It had the traditional style long sleeves with point d'sprit, scalloped v-neck and scooped back. The Basque waist accented a full skirt overlaid with beaded lace appliques with scalloped hem edged with matching lace, which extended into a semi-cathedral train. The head piece was a semi-wreath of re-embroidered Alencon lace petals accented with pearls and iridescent holding a double fingertip veil of English illusion.

The bride carried a traditional cascade of English garden flowers made up of champagne and anna roses, stock, dendrobium orchids and English ivy.

Christy Waters of Calhoun, La., served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Kimberly Gatchell of Carrollton, Texas, Ashley Traczewitz of Daphne, Ala., Meredith Whitaker of Ruston, La., and Angie Hunnicutt of Arkadelphia. They wore formal navy crepe gowns, featuring portrait necklines with v-back and elbow length matching gloves. Each carried soft cluster bouquets of champagne and anna roses, stock, dendrobium orchids, and English ivy.

Brother of the groom, Doug Flint of Leawood, Kan., served as best man. Groomsmen were Sean Gatchell of Carrollton, Texas, Ryan Traczewitz of Prescott, Al Blount of Bossier City, La., and Doug Potter of Austin, Texas.

Ushers were Austin Adam of Dallas, Texas, and Kevin Moseley of Shreveport, La., and Tony Stanton of Overland Park, Kan.

Deanna Reaves of Ruston, La., attended the guest registry and Jennifer Salvail of Benton, La., assisted with programs.

Helen Hitt of North Little Rock was the wedding coordinator.

A champagne reception was given in honor of the couple in the Arkansas Ballroom of the Inntowne Best Western.

An antique garden urn filled with wedding theme flowers were centered with crystal candles on mirrors accented with greenery and fresh flowers.

The bride's table featured a three- tiered wedding cake with an octagonal base adorned with fresh flowers. Toasting flutes, silver wine cooler and serving accessories flanked the beautiful cake.

The groom's table featured a chocolate cake with raspberry filling centered with groom's monogram and decorated with chocolate curls and fresh grapes.

Guests enjoyed dancing to DJ services of Complete Music.

Following a short wedding trip to Petit Jean State Park, the couple reside in Carrollton, Texas, where the groom is a pilot for Cherry Air and the bride is a dietician for Grace Presbyterian Assisted Living Facility.
