New Manager Of Local Bank Named

Kent Hendrix, 40, has been named executive vice president of the Bank of Delight. He will work at the Nevada County Branch in Prescott on a daily basis.

Hendrix, a native of Antoine, comes to the bank with almost 13 years of banking experience in Southwest Arkansas. Most recently, he served as president and chief executive officer of Citizens National Bank of Nashville.

Hendrix graduated from Southern Arkansas University in Magnolia with a degree in business-agriculture, and also received a master of business administration degree from Louisiana Tech University in Ruston, La.

He graduated with distinction from Southwestern Graduate School of Banking at Southern Methodist University in 1993.

Active in community and civic affairs, Hendrix has served on the board of directors of the El Dorado Chamber of Commerce and the Nashville Industrial Development Corporation. He currently serves on the board of Howard Memorial Hospital and the Arkansas Bankers Association. He is a member of the Prescott Rotary Club.

Hendrix is the son of the late Gerald C. Hendrix and Bobbie Hendrix of Antoine.

He is married to the former Carol Hess of Foreman and they have two children. Carol was employed in Prescott at the Nevada County Day Service Center as a special education teacher in the early 1980's.
