Senate Prepares For '99Published Wednesday, January 7, 1998 in the Nevada County PicayuneArticle not available. Susan Hooker has been named employee of the month of December at Firestone. Hooker has been with Firestone for ten years and works in the material control department as a buyer/planner. Originally from New Jersey, Hooker moved to Prescott over 14 years ago and says she likes country living. She has established her own private animal sanctuary, which includes cats, dogs, and birds. Most of Hooker's pets were found abandoned. NEW SIGN The Partnership, a cooperative of the Prescott-Nevada County Chamber of Commerce and the Prescott-Nevada County Economic Development Office, got a new sign Friday, Jan. 2. The sign was painted by the Rev. Tom Mitchell, who donated it to the organization.
