Hilltop 4H MeetsPublished Wednesday, January 7, 1998 in the Gurdon TimesThe Hilltop 4-H Club held its regular monthly meeting December 8. Officers were elected for the following year. Those elected were Matt Dickerson, president; Adam Clark, vice president; Cassie Lynn, secretary; Robyn Lemay, treasurer; and Amanda Paull, reporter. Special guests for the meeting were Mrs. Jean Toland and Mrs. Elizabeth Wilson from the Red Springs EHC Club, who demonstrated the making of an ABC block Christmas decoration. December 23 the 4-H members, Jenice Jackson, Christina Daniels, Earl Kitchens, Derek Puckett, Robyn Lemay, Melanie Benson, Bonnie Ferguson, Amanda Paull and Katherine Ferguson, sang Christmas carols at the Gurdon Senior Adults Center.
