Rain, rain, rain! We're sure getting plenty of rain in our part of the world.

Karen DeYoung has returned back to school in Fayetteville after spending the holidays with her parents, Mary and Walt DeYoung.

We have several sick ones in our community. Tina Kisselburg Egger is recovering from a wreck, Wilma Compton is home after having heart surgery in Little Rock. Shanna Loe had an emergency appendectomy on Friday and is home doing fine.

Betty and Roy Cagle recently visited his mother, Beulah Cagle, in Dallas, Texas.

Jack and Ruby Bidwell spent Christmas day with Frances and Jackie Bidwell.

Billie Ann and L.C. Gas from Chicksha, Okla., spent last week with her mother, Allene Taylor.

I'm trying to catch up on my news about holiday visiting.

Nell and Howard McDaniel, their son Nathan and Bubba from Monroe, La., visited Frances and Jackie Bidwell on Saturday after Christmas. On Sunday, Jackie and Frances went to Mt. Pleasant, Texas, to visit another daughter, Deanie Luck, and her family.

At the time of this writing, our neighbor, Faye Harris, is in critical condition in a Texarkana hospital.
