EHS Homecoming Set

Published Wednesday, January 14, 1998 in the Nevada County Picayune

Emmet High School's homecoming will be Friday, January 16, at 6 p.m. in Ross Gymnasium at the school.

Who the queen is will not be revealed until that time. The candidates are selected from the sophomore, junior and senior classes.

Following the homecoming festivities, the junior and senior boys will play Bright Star.

This will be Emmet's first homecoming in it new gym, named after Dr. and Mrs. Gene Ross. Dr. Ross is superintendent of the school district.

Vying for the queen's position will be three seniors, two juniors and two sophomores.

Those in the senior court and their escorts are

  • tenth grade: Tiffany Elliott, escorted by R.J. Overton, and Brandi White, escorted by Nick Ward;

  • eleventh grade: Rachel Elliott, es-corted by Chad Adamson, and Melissa Adams, escorted by Shawn Goodson;

  • twelfth grade: Tasha Rothenberger, escorted by Jim Faulkner, Chandra Banks, escorted by Josh Rothenberger, and Renee Faulkner, escorted by C.J. Watson.

The junior high maids and their escorts are

  • grade seven: Holly Otwell, escorted by Grant Kirkpatrick, and Ashley Hodges, escorted by Brandon Jenson.

  • grade eight: Courtney Lively, escorted by Jim Faulkner, and Amber Dougan, escorted by Don Paul Mitchell.

  • grade nine: Alexis Banks, escorted by Nick Ward, Katie Davidson, escorted by Josh Rothenberger, and Amanda Hodges, escorted by C.J. Watson.

    Crown bearers for the junior court will be Rashion Reed and Zack Hicks.

    Crown bearers for the senior court will be Morgan Quillin and Richard Beck.
