John Robert StewartPublished Wednesday, January 21, 1998 in the Nevada County PicayuneJohn Robert Stewart, 69, of Prescott died Tuesday, January 13, 1998, in Wadley Regional Medical Center in Texarkana, Texas. Mr. Stewart was born May 1, 1928, in Prescott. He was the son of the late Robert I. and Bertie Cooley Stewart. He was a retired tour agent of 33 years for the Continental Trailways Bus Line of Memphis, Tenn., a 1946 graduate of Prescott High School, and he attended Henderson State Teachers College. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Prescott and was a member of the Alma Eagle Sunday School Class. After retirement, he returned to Prescott and was a volunteer for the Depot Museum for three years. He is survived by two sons of Tennessee; and two sisters, Dorothy Daniel of North Little Rock and Loyce McGill of Prescott. Graveside services were Friday, January 16, at DeAnn Cemetery with Rev.
