Plans Are Finalized

Final plans have been made for the wedding of Jill Johnson and Dustin Blankenship.

Rev. Jim Lenderman will conduct the marriage ceremony at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, January 24, at the First United Methodist Church in Prescott.

Friends and relatives are cordially invited to attend the wedding.

Jennifer Steeger of Prescott and James Wise of Perryville have been awarded the Carlton A. Sturms Memorial Scholarship for 1997-98. After Mrs. Sturms died in 1994, her attorney found several certificates of deposit in her deposit box with the College of Medicine scholarship program as the beneficiary. A note attached said that the scholarships should be named to honor her late husband. The scholarship is awarded to a student who has demonstrated academic excellence.
