College NewsPublished Wednesday, January 21, 1998 in the Gurdon TimesPhillip Porcelli has been named to the dean's list for the 1997 spring and fall semesters at Ouachita Baptist University in Arkadelphia. To quality for the list, a student must be enrolled full time and earn a grade point average of 3.5. He is a sophomore at OBU and is pursuing a bachelor of arts degree in science. Porcelli is a 1996 graduate of Gurdon High School and a member of the United Methodist Church in Gurdon. He is the son of Marsha Porcelli of Arkadelphia.
