The time is set for 3:00 p.m. The first Sunday night fellowship will convene with the Church of God on Carrie Street in Gurdon Sunday, February 1, at 6:30 p.m. Everyone is invited to attend. Welcome to the Black History Program Sunday, February 8, at 2:30 p.m. at New Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Gurdon. Everyone is welcome. Sis. Rose Crow, youth director. Rev. Quintin Radford, pastor. Welcome to the 49th church anniversary Sunday, March 22, at 2:30 p.m. at New Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Gurdon. Everyone and all churches are invited. Rev. Quinton Radford is the pastor. Eastern Star Baptist Church in Smithton and Rev. Marshall Allen will be the special guests Sunday, February 1, at 2:30 at Bethel A.M.E. Church in Gurdon. Rev. A. Parham, pastor. The Chamber of Commerce monthly coffee sponsor for the month of January was the St. Joseph Rural Health Clinic in Gurdon. Dr. Barbara Holt of the Clark County Extension office demonstrated microwave safety techniques to the Hilltop 4-H Club in its January meeting.
