John Mark Huckabee Heads OrganizationPublished Wednesday, October 27, 1999 in the Nevada County PicayuneGov. Mike Huckabee's son, John Mark, has been named chairman of the Youth for Forbes organization for the state of Arkansas. "I believe Steve Forbes is the only candidate out there who is articulating a conservative vision for America," the younger Huckabee said. "He is the only true conservative who can win." As chairman of Youth for Forbes in Arkansas, Huckabee will be a spokesman for the organization, as well as involved in Forbes campaign efforts throughout the state. Huckabee is a 22-year-old senior at Ouachita Baptist University and is majoring in political science. His father has been governor of Arkansas since July 15, 1996.
