Our first quarter will be held at New Salem A.M.E. Church Sunday, February 1, with Rev. Lessly Banks, pastor, and Rev. T.W. Adair, presiding elder of Magnolia District. Our pastor is asking all members of the Young Circuit to please be present.

Our preacher will be preaching at Betch Hill Sunday at 2:30. He has asked his choir to go along to sing Rev. E. Montgomery was our former pastor.

Guest at church Sunday was Rachel Young Moore and husband from Magnolia. She is yet going to college. Jessie L. and Zeolia have three girls in college. They all are very smart girls. They are all members of Bethel A.M.E. Church. I am proud of them.

The Oak Grove Alumni is asking all alumni to meet February 13 to help plan the school reunion for July 3 and 4. Please come out and let's plan together. We need your help.

Bethel A.M.E. Church is spon-soring a Black History Program the fourth Sunday in February.

On our sick list is Bro. Ira J. Tidwell. He is in the Medical Park Hospital in Hope. Let's pray for Bro. Tidwell.

The Oak Grove Daycare Center will hold open house February 5. The daycare center meets every Monday night at 6 p.m.

Girtie Mae Staphs and her friend lady from Louisiana visited her Aunt Girtie B. Blake Sunday afternoon.

Dale Quarles have moved from Prescott back to Rosston. He really has a good looking mobile home. He is the son of Alvin and Nadine Quarles.

Queen Ester Latin Brock passed away Saturday. Funeral is not complete at this time of writing. There will be more news next week.
