Sandy Hardamon

Sandy Hardamon, 90, of Prescott, died Thursday, January 22, 1998, in Columbia Medical Park Hospital in Hope.

Mr. Hardamon was born April 7, 1907, in Prescott. He was retired from Potlatch and was a member of St. Mark Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon. He was preceded in death by his wife, Vinnie Lee Jackson Hardamon, a twin sister, three brothers and mother and father, Tom and Annie Sims Hardamon.

Survivors include seven sons, Dolphus Dismuke of Pasadena, Calif., James Hardamon and Mayfield Hardamon both Rich-mond, Calif., Clifford Reed and Robert Hardamon of Prescott, Odell Hardamon of Columbus, Ga., Louis Hardamon of Gary, Ind.; four daughters, Marie Mills of Valejo, Calif., Daisy L. Tidwell of Gary, Ind., Annie B. Dumas of Oakland, Calif., and Lou Emma Shaw of Los Angeles, Calif.; one brother, J.W. Hardamon, of Peoria, Ill.; and one sister, Maggie Whick Ware of Oakland, Calif.

Funeral services are today (Wed., Jan. 28) at 2:30 p.m. at St. Mark Baptist Church in Prescott with Rev. Eugene Toney, officiating. Burial will be in Sweet Home Cemetery under the direction of Hicks Funeral Home of Hope.
