Rainbow Garden ClubPublished Wednesday, January 28, 1998 in the Nevada County PicayuneThe Rainbow Garden Club met January 20 with nine members present. Those attending were Gertie Meador, Jean Biddle, Pat Milam, Mariam Purtle, Virginia Easterling, Faye Andrews, Dorothy Ward, Helen Harrison and Grace Tyree. The meeting opened with members repeating the Gardener's Prayer and the club commandments. After a short business session Clay Wingfield presented the program on 'Forcing Bulbs.' Clay gave detailed instruction on growing flowering bulbs inside your home. Faye Andrews and Gertie Meador were the hostesses and served delicious refreshments to close the meeting.
