Double C EHCPublished Wednesday, January 28, 1998 in the Nevada County PicayuneThe Double C Extension Homemakers Club met Wednesday night, January 21, for its first meeting in 1998. The meeting was called to order by Ann Loe, president. The minutes were read and approved. A treasury report was made by Ruby Wicker, secretary. Club Collect was read by Dorothy Apel. Candace Carrie, Nevada County Extension Agent, had charge of the program concerning care and use of our cars. A well serviced car makes sure everything works for our sense of security, and she also presented "Carrie's Winter Car Kit" list for emergencies. A wonderful surprise. One of our most faithful members, Mary Reaves, who is recovering from hip surgery she had two weeks ago, was able to attend the meeting. We were happy to have her. After the meeting, visiting was enjoyed and refreshments were served to the 10 members present. Search | Nevada County Picayune by date | Gurdon Times by date |
