Glass Seeks ReelectionPublished Wednesday, January 28, 1998 in the Nevada County PicayuneTommy Glass has announced he will seek reelection as Nevada County Coroner. He is presently serving his first term. "I would like to take this opportunity to thank the people of Nevada County for their vote and support in the past," he said in a prepared news release. "I would also like to thank Eddie Brazzel and Staff, Ricky Burke and Staff, Dr. Michael Young, Dr. Charles Vermont and the Nevada County Sheriff's Department for their cooperation and assistance," he continued. "A special thanks goes to Deputy Coroner Jack Faulkner, who covers these duties during my absence." According to Glass' records in 1997, he said in his statement, there were one homicide, one suicide, one traffic fatality and one drowning. All others pronounced by Glass or his deputies fell under the heading of natural, he said. "Your vote and support in the May primary will be appreciated," he said.
