Copeland ElectedPublished Wednesday, February 4, 1998 in the Gurdon TimesThe Clark County Farm Service Agency (FSA) recently held a county election to elect a new committee person for Local Administrative Area (LAA) 3. Elected to serve on the county committee was Mary Frances Copeland of Arkadelphia. Jay Taylor will serve as first alternate to the county committee from LAA 3. Ronnie Nash will serve as the second alternate. Taylor, Nash and Donnie Yarber make up the community committee for LAA 3. The county committee is responsible for the overall direction of the operations of the county FSA office and the administration of the various farm programs at the county level. Information about FSA may be obtained from the USDA Service Center at 1030 Village Drive in Arkadelphia or by calling 870-246-9816 or 870-246-8652.
