Wedding PlannedPublished Wednesday, February 4, 1998 in the Gurdon TimesRev. and Mrs. Gordon J. Toppping of Pine Bluff announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Jacqueline, to Jason Mark Stinnett, son of Dr. and Mrs. J.L. Stinnett Jr. of Searcy. The bride-elect is the grand-daughter of Mr. John Topping and the late Jessie Topping of Glasgow, Scotland, and Mr. George Bowman and the late Elizabeth Bowman of Cowdenbeath, Scotland. She is a 1991 graduate of Pine Bluff High School and received a bachelor of science in business administration from Williams Baptist College in 1995 and a master of business administration from Arkansas State University in 1997. Miss Topping is currently assist-ant director of admissions at Williams Baptist College in Walnut Ridge. The prospective groom is the grandson of Mrs. Louise Stinnett and the late J.L. Stinnett of Gurdon, and the late Cecil and Evelyn Scott also of Gurdon. Mr. Stinnett is a 1990 graduate of Searcy High School and a summa cum laude graduate of Baylor University in 1994 with a bachelor of arts in computer science. He is a candidate to receive a doctor of medicine from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock in May. The couple will exchange wedding vows at First Baptist Church in Pine Bluff at 3:00 p.m. on March 21 with a reception immediately following at Harbor Oaks Golf Club in Pine Bluff.
