Welcome to the Black History program Sunday, February 8, at New Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Gurdon. Sunday school will begin at 9:30 a.m. Instead of the program being at 2:30 p.m. it will at the 11:00 a.m. worship service. Every-one and all churches are welcome. Sis. Rose C. Crow, youth director; Rev. Quintin Radford, pastor.

The officers and members of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church of Okolona will celebrate their pastor and his wife's sixth pastor's anniversary on Sunday, February 15, at 3:00 p.m. Rev. and Mrs. Rufus R. Hatley and family. Everyone and all churches are welcome. Special guests will the Rev. Alvin Hunter and the Lonoke Baptist Church family of Hope. Rev. Rufus R. Hatley, pastor.

Welcome to the 49th church anniversary on March 22 at New Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Gurdon at 2:30 p.m. Everyone and all churches are welcome. Special guests will be Rev. A.T. Jordon and Evergreen Baptist Church of Nash, Texas. Rev. Quintin Radford, pastor.

The officers and members of Lonoke Baptist Church of Hope will celebrate their pastor, Rev.Alvin Hunter, and his family pastor's anniversary on February 22 at 3:00 p.m. Everyone and all churches are invited to attend. Special guests will be the Harrison Chapel Baptist Church family of Delight and the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church family of Antoine. Rev. Rufus R. Hatley, pastor and speaker; Rev. Alvin Hunter, pastor.

Sunday, March 15, Rev. Rufus R. Hatley and his church families of Harrison Chapel and Pleasant Grove will be the special guests in Shreveport, La., in the Gospel Rocks of Harmony Group anniversary. Everyone is welcome to attend. Time will be 3:00 p.m. Rev. Hatley will bring the message.

On Sunday, March 1, at Clay-born Chapel A.M.E. Church at 2:30 p.m. there will be a musical program at the Spring Hill community. Everyone is invited. Sis. Lois Eason is in charge. Rev. Charles B. Frost, pastor.

Welcome to the fellowship program Sunday, February 8, at the Muldrew Chapel C.M.E. Church in Gurdon at 3:00 p.m. Special guest speaker will be Bro. Burl Gills, pastor of the Church on the Rock in Texarkana. Everyone and all churches are welcome. Rev. Ronald Scott, pastor.

Mrs. Ozell Meeks Berry, cousin of Mrs. Maud Brown, and sister to Mrs. Curtis Alexander and brother to James H. Meeks of the Gurdon and Antoine communits, passed away in Indiana.

Abry Porche of Pine Bluff, who is formerly of Benton, passed away Friday. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. in Pine Bluff at Brown's Funeral Home. He is the father of Burl Rhinehart of Benton and dad-in-law of Vivian Rhinehart.

Third Sunday singing will be held at Clayburn Chapel A.M.E. Church of Springhill on Feb. 15. Rev. C.B. Frost is the pastor. Everyone is invited to attend.
