Students Hear About CalendarsPublished Wednesday, February 4, 1998 in the Gurdon TimesDuring January, students at Miss Lisa's Nursery School studied the calendar and seasons. The children were asked what their favorite season is and why. Their answers are shared with you. Jerica Collins: Spring, because I have a Barbie kite and I like to fly it. Kaitlyn Dickerson: Wintertime is my favorite time; I like the snow. Devan Jester: Summer, because I like to go swimming. Kelby Merrill: Winter, because I like to fall down in the snow. Hutton Pettit: Summer, because I like to swim in my swimming pool. Kayleigh Redfearn: Summer, because I like to go on picnics with my Meme. Megan Trout: Spring, because I like Easter. Robert Turner: Fall, so I can go hunting with my Daddy. Wes Boulden: Winter and fall; I like to go hunting. Troy Hooks: Spring, flying kites. Kerbi Key: Winter, because I like snowmen. Jordan Kinder: Spring and fall, because I like baseball and football games. J.L. Lockwood: Spring, because I like flying kites and jumping on my trampoline, and I like drinking from my eyeball straw; I also like spending the night with my Meme. Presley Pennington: Fall. I like going to football games. Rachel Pierce: Fal, because I like Halloween. Jennifer Pope: Winter, because I like to build snowmen. Amanda Shults: Winter, because I like snow.
