Thomas Allen Manning

Thomas Allen Manning, 72, of Arkadelphia, died Sunday, February 1, 1998, at St. Vincent's Infirmary in Little Rock.

Mr. Manning was born October 9, 1925, in Richwoods, the son of the late Walter Gray and Stella Floyd Manning. He was retired from International Paper Company and he was a World War II U.S. Navy veteran. Mr. Manning was a member of Richwoods Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by one grandson, Chad White, two brothers and four sisters.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Murrell Manning; one daughter, Peggy White of Arkadelphia; one son, Tom Manning of Little Rock; three brothers, Earl Manning, Hershell Manning and Connie Manning of Arkadelphia; one sister, Sue Jester of Bradley; and two grandsons, Rob White and Trey Manning.

Graveside services were held Tuesday, February 3, at Richwoods Cemetery with Rev. Scott Jackson officiating, under the direction of Murry-Ruggles Funeral Home of Arkadelphia.

Memorials may be made to Richwoods Cemetery Fund.
