The officers and members of the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church family of Okolona will celebrate their pastor and his wife's (Rev. and Mrs. Rufus Hatley) sixth pastor's anniversary Sunday, February 15, at 3:00 p.m. Everyone and all churches are welcome. Special guests will be Rev. Alvin Hunter and the Lonoke Baptist Church family of Hope.

Welcome to the 49th church anniversary on Sunday, March 22, at New Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Gurdon at 2:30 p.m. Everyone and all churches are welcome. Special guests will be Rev. A.T. Jordon and Evergreen Baptist Church of Nash, Texas. Rev. Quintin Radford is the pastor.

The officers and members of the Lonoke Baptist Church family of Hope will celebrate their pastor, Rev. Alvin Hunter, and his family pastor's anniversary on February 22 at 3:00 p.m. Everyone and all churches are welcome. Special guests will be the Harrison Chapel Baptist Church family of Delight and the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church family of Antoine. Rev. Rufus R. Hatley will be the speaker. Rev. Alvin Hunter, pastor.

The third Sunday night fellow-ship singing will convene at Clayborn Chapel A.M.E. Church at 6:30 p.m. Sunday, February 15. Everyone is welcome to attend. Roosevelt House is in charge. Rev. C.B. Frost, pastor.

Sunday, March 1, at Clayborn Chapel A.M.E. Church at 3:00 p.m. there will be a musical program in the Spring Hill community. Every-one and all churches are welcome. Sis. Lois Eason is in charge. Charles B. Frost, pastor.

Sunday, March 8, at 3:00 p.m. Muldrew Chapel C.M.E. Church will celebrate their church anniversary. All past members and officers are encouraged to attend. All churches are welcome.

Sunday, February 15, at 3:00 p.m. the Missionary Society of Muldrew Chapel C.M.E. church will host a Love Feast for Jesus, featuring a tag team of speakers that include Bro. Richard Graham, Minister Charles Ollison, Minister Bertha Holliman, wrapped up by Rev. Sister Annie Hubbard. Everyone is invited to attend. Rev. Ronald Scott, pastor.

Sunday night, March 22 at 6:30, there will be a musical program at Union Grove Baptist Church in Bluff City. Everyone and all churches are welcome. Sis. Burne Dean Purifoy is the sponsor. Rev. Leon Parham, pastor.

Welcome to the appreciation program for the Voices of Praise Saturday night, February 21, at 6:30

at First Baptist Church in Okolona. Everyone is invited to attend. Rev. Richard Dixon, president. Rev. Eddie Brown, pastor.


Mr. and Mrs. Coy D. Tims will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., Sunday, February 22, at their home at 2401 Forest Park in Arkadelphia. Mrs. Tims is the former Bobbie Thornton of Bismarck. Mr. Tims is retired from Gum Springs Metal Co. The reception is being given by their daughters, Delores Turner of Dallas, Texas, Brenda Hasley of Arkadelphia and Rebecca Spradlin of Bismarck. They have six grandchildren and one great grandchild.
