First State Bank Promotes Three

John R. French, president of First State Bank in Gurdon, has announced recent promotions of three long term bankers on behalf of the bank's management and board of directors.

Kaye Stiffler has received a promotion to vice president. She began her banking career in Gurdon in 1967. Stiffler supervises loan administration for First State Bank.

Janet Purifoy, a staff member since 1984, has been promoted to vice president. Purifoy's duties include supervision of tellers, new accounts, and customer services.

Tammy Francis, a 17-year employee, was recently promoted to assistant vice president. Francis' responsibilities include supervision of the bookkeeping and data processing functions of First State Bank.

"Management and the board of directors congratulate Kaye, Janet, and Tammy for their professional service to First State Bank and Gurdon," French remarked. "We encourage their friends and customers to drop by and do the same."

NEW PROMOTIONS These three employees of the First State Bank of Gurdon were recently promoted. Kaye Stiffler and Janet Purifoy were named new vice presidents, while Tammy Francie earned a promotion to assistant vice president.
