Mr. and Mrs. Roy Bray from Bismarck visited her mother, Willie Cox Friday. John Cox from Curtis visited his mother, Mrs. Willie Cox, Saturday. Also, her friend, Evelyn Howell, from Orange, Texas, visited Saturday. Billie Ridling, Terri Vandiver, Rhonda Hillery and Kim and Shelby Cottingham visited their mother and grandmother, Willie McClain, this week. Mary Edith Grant of Texarkana and Jo DeWoody of Gurdon visited their friend, Mildred White, last week. Mrs. White's daughter and her family, Elaine Halliday, Rickey, Austin and Britta, from Gurdon also visited. Mildred's son from Little Rock, Marty White, was also here over the weekend. We are so sorry to report the death of Bro. Alonzo Cottingham. He has been such an important part of our activity program, providing spiritual guidance with a devotional twice a week. He has touched the lives of so many residents and staff members with his kind, gentle demeanor. Our lives are better for knowing him. We express our sympathy to his family and especially his wife, Jean, who resides with us. We are happy to welcome some volunteer domino players to our community. Our residents are having a good time and enjoying the new competition. Tot Batman and Lovella Pryor of Prescott visited Mr. and Mrs. Denton Hawley last week. Hope everyone has a great week.
