Sorry I did not have any news last week. I was very busy we are having spring weather, and it makes you think about gardening.

There will be a red and white program at Bethel A.M.E. Church on February 22 at 2 p.m.

Oak Grove Baptist Church is having a Black History program on February 15. Mrs. Marua Gives will be the speaker. She is from Magnolia.

James Fort was buried at Mt. Vernon A.M.E. Church Cemetery Friday.

Claud Thorns is in the hospital in Hope.

Open house was held at the daycare center Thursday night. They have it looking good over there. There will be an alumni meeting at the daycare center February 13. We are asking all former Nevada County Training School and Oak Grove students to please come out and help plan the activities for July 3 and 4. Help us make this a good affair.
