Mr. and Mrs. Skip Dillard from Rosston visited his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Louie Dillard, Friday. Mrs. Peggy Harmon from Pine Bluff visited her father, Noel Cummings, Thursday. Mrs. Bobby Abby from Little Rock spent Sunday with her mother, Louise Pounds. Sherri Anderson from Hot Springs visited her Aunt Irene Riley Sunday. The Valentine mail boxes outside our rooms were a lot of fun. We kept getting mail all day. Mr. and Mrs. Roy Bray from Bismarck visited her mother, Willie Cox, Monday. Bea and Lewis Chase from Abilene, Texas, visited Margaret Smith and helped her celebrate her birthday. She really enjoyed their visit. Laneburg Church provided our services Sunday afternoon with their youth providing a puppet show. Our residents really enjoyed this and are still talking about it. Carolyn Gilbert and Fran Lacy visited Carolyn's daughter, Judy Wright, in Hot Springs last week. They attended the horse races while there, but Carolyn stated that she "lost a few dollars and Fran doesn't bet." They still had a very good time. Onis Haver and Emily Almand of Little Rock visited Elon Almand last week. We enjoyed a very special Valentine's party last week. Marcia Rhodes baked and helped served beautiful Valentine cakes. Lavern Pruitt and Mabel Rhodes assisted with serving. Our residents won door prizes and our very special entertainment was by Judy Campbell Robertson, who played guitar and sang.
