BoughtonMrs. Willie HooksPublished Wednesday, October 27, 1999 in the Nevada County Picayune We extend our sympathy to the loved ones of Glendene Haynie. Her funeral was Saturday at Liberty Church. She was buried in Liberty Cemetery. We are sorry Cathrine Hooks is in Medical Park Hospital at Hope. She has pneumonia with other problems. Bro. Louis Hanover and his wife, Jane, of Lenord, Okla., (former pastor at Boughton) visited Elsie Elmore Saturday. Billy Blankenship of Ashdown spent a few days with his mother-in-law, Annie Mae Hooks, to do some deer hunting. Chad Blankenship also spent Friday night to hunt. Chad killed a nice 8-point deer with his crossbow last week. Mildred White is visiting a few days with her son and daughter-in-law, Martie and Rita White, and grandson, Payton, and her new baby granddaughter, Bayley Michelle. Willie and I enjoyed having Bro. Larry Byers of Morris and Emilee visit us Sunday afternoon. Lynden and Agatha Cowart of Idabel, Okla., spent Thursday night with her mother, Annie Mae Hooks. Ashley Beck spent the weekend with her granddad, Herbie Ridgell. Robin, Elizabeth and Alex Ridgell visited Herbie Sunday. John Gann and son visited Everett and Mary Orren Saturday.
