Veterans CornerPublished Wednesday, February 18, 1998 in the Nevada County PicayuneThere are some Veterans and dependents receiving V.A. pension who have not brought me their E.V.R's, and medical expense reports to be filed with V.A. March 1 is the last day. When you come by my office at the courthouse, be sure to bring all the information needed, such as all income you received in 1997, and include your W2, 1099 forms. Your December bank statement will show most of this. You should know how much you pay for all health insurance policies, dental bills, eye glasses and have printouts of all prescription drugs you purchased in 1997, as well as any amount you paid 'out of pocket' for health purposes. Remember, if you don't get this information filed your VA check will stop. My office is open from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. The phone number is 887-5776.
