Emmet Sets Conference

Emmet Elementary and Emmet High Schools will have parent-teacher conferences Thursday, Feb-ruary 19, from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m.

Teachers will be available to talk with parents concerning their children's progress. Report cards will be distributed at the conferences.

If any parent did not receive a form to schedule a time for the conference, you should contact your child's principal at 887-2319. Floyd Pollock is the elementary principal and Frank Henson is the high school principal.

School will be dismissed at 2:00 February 19, due to the conferences.

All parents are urged to attend.

Rachel Dougan will be performing as special guest this Saturday, February 21, at Union St. Station in Magnolia. Showtime is 7:00 p.m. Live country music for the entire family.

Matt Sego, above, instructional supervisor with IMPAC Learning Systems, held a two-day workshop to show lab manager Jeanette Steed and the teachers how to use the software in the new IMPAC computer lab. Students in Gerry Gibson's sixth grade class, below, enjoy their first session in the computers.
