They then went to Conway to a state singing convention. They had a great time. It is scheduled to come to Hope for next year. Little Wesley Butler of Cabot spent a few days with great grand parents, Deck and Earlene Butler. John and Danielle Dorman and family were visiting Mom, Marguerite Dorman, over the weekend. There will be the regular Halloween get-together at the Wayne Loe deer camp. It starts about 3 p.m. From 3:00 to 5:00 there will be fellowship and games, from 5:00 to 6:00 time to eat. There will be a hay ride, bonfire and wiener roast. Then Roger King and Grand Prairie singers from Lonoke, and Union Hill (Ambassadors) from Bodcaw will sing. Everyone is invited. Bring your lawn chair. Marie and Joey Tye had their family get together with all who could make it. Don't know how many. Jerry, we also went to Lambert's Home of thousand rolls. It would have been something to have met that far away from Hope. Daniel and Josh Clements had a birthday party on Sunday night. They have the same birthday. Remember Jimmy Joe Butler. He had heart surgery in Denver and had a stroke since his surgery. He seemed a little better at last report. Search | Nevada County Picayune by date | Gurdon Times by date |
