Jones, Carter Tell Of May 30th Wedding PlansPublished Wednesday, February 18, 1998 in the Nevada County PicayuneMerilyn Jones of Magnolia announces the engagement and forthcoming marriage of her daughter, Laura Casey, to Jeremy Craig Carter, son of Larry and Carolyn Carter of Junction City. The bride-elect is the daughter of the late Charles D. Jones of Magnolia. The bride-elect is the grand-daughter of Franki Lee Carruthers of Malvern and the late Rev. L.O. Lee of Prescott and the late Mort and Myrtie Jones of Prescott. She is a graduate of Magnolia High School and Southern Arkansas University with a BBA in accounting. She is employed as a financial analyst for Lockheed Martin Corporation, Vought Systems Division in Camden. The prospective groom is the grandson of Mildred and the late Vernard Hall of Junction City, and the late Bill and Betty Sue Carter of El Dorado. He is a graduate of Junction City High School and is a senior at Southern Arkansas University. He will graduate in May with a BBA with emphasis in marketing and management. The wedding will take place on May 30 at 2:00 in the afternoon at Asbury United Methodist Church in Magnolia. Friends and family are invited to attend. Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Craig of Prescott are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Gerri Suzanne, to Sammy Monroe Griffin, son of Mrs. and Mrs. J.W. Griffin of Delight.
