Alvin ScottPublished Wednesday, February 18, 1998 in the Nevada County PicayuneAlvin Scott, 87, of Prescott died Thursday, February 12, 1998, at Columbia Medical Park Hospital in Hope. Mr. Scott was born August 10, 1910, in Hempstead County to Horace and Flora Scott. He was a farmer and a member of Green Hill C.M.E. Church. Survivors include his wife, Janie Carlue Scott of Phoenix, Ariz.; one daughter, Mary Lou Scott Johnson of Manchester, N.H.; 17 grand- children; and numerous great and great great grandchildren. Funeral services will be Thursday, February 19, at 1:00 p.m. in the Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home Chapel in Prescott with Rev. William Colbert officiating.
