Denver Rhodes

Denver Rhodes, 84, of Dallas, Texas, formerly of Caney, died Tuesday, February 10, 1998.

Mr. Rhodes was retired from LTV and a dedicated long time member of the Trinity Church of the Nazarene in Duncanville, Texas. He was the valedictorian of his high school graduating class at Cale.

Survivors include his son, Ronnie Rhodes of Dallas; one daughter, Sharon Newberry of Grand Prairie, Texas; three grandchildren, Kirk Sims, Mark Bertling and Meredith Smith; 11 great grandchildren; one brother, Bill F. Rhodes of Caney; and four sisters, Ismay Stovall, Grace Callicott, Sue Baker and Martha Faye Van Hoose.

Funeral services were held Friday, February 13, at Trinity Church of the Nazarene in Duncanville with Rev. Robert Williams officiating. Interment was in Laurel Land Memorial Park in Dallas. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
