Dorothy Rooks HinesPublished Wednesday, February 18, 1998 in the Nevada County PicayuneDorothy Rooks Hines, 80, formerly of Prescott, died Saturday, February 14, 1998, in Little Rock. Mrs. Hines was born September 27, 1917, in Whitehouse, Texas. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Prescott since 1946. She was preceded in death by her husband, J.D. Hines, who passed away in 1986. Survivors include one son, Billy Hines of Prescott; one daughter, June Moore of Little Rock; five grandchildren; and three great grandchildren. Funeral services were Monday, February 16, at Shackelford Funeral Home Chapel in Prescott with Bro. Bill Carpenter officiating.
