Eva Lee WhitePublished Wednesday, February 18, 1998 in the Nevada County PicayuneMrs. Eva Lee White, 89, of Hope died Saturday, February 14, 1998, at Columbia Medical Park Hospital in Hope. Mrs. White was born June 5, 1908, in Nevada County to Guy and Lula May. She was a homemaker and a member of Bodcaw Baptist church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul White, who died in 1989; four brothers, Howard May, Grady May, Herman May and Garland May, and one sister, Opal Bailey. Survivors include one son, Wayne White of Hope; two daughters, Pauline Anderson of Harrisburg and Mary Lou McGuire of Prescott; one brother, Youell May of Hope; one sister, Louise Purtle of Hope; 10 grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and three great great grandchildren. Funeral services were Monday, February 16, at Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home Chapel in Hope with Rev. Ray Bowman officating.
