Lillian L. GilbertPublished Wednesday, February 18, 1998 in the Nevada County PicayuneLillian L. Gilbert, 84, of Fulton, died Wednesday, February 11, 1998, at Pinehope Nursing Home in Hope. Mrs. Gilbert was born January 22, 1914, in Columbus, to Christopher Columbus and Georgie Smith Hamilton. She was a homemaker, a member of the First Pentecostal Church of Hope. She was preceded in death by her husband, Finley Edward Gilbert; one son, John F. 'Johnny' Gilbert and two daughters, Alice May Boyce and Ruby Jean Bennett. Survivors include Danny Gilbert of Fulton; one daughter, Tambra Gunter of Hope; two sisters, Ora Stewart of Texarkana and Ruth Gilbert of London; and fourteen grandchildren. Funeral services were Saturday, February 14, at Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home Chapel in Hope with Rev. Bobby Rodgers officiating.
