Merchants' Meeting Is Thursday

All local merchants are needed on Thursday, February 19, to attend a special meeting to map plans for a committee.

The meeting will be to from and plan a retail merchants committee for the Prescott-Nevada County Chamber of Commerce.

The meeting will be held at 5:15 at the Chamber of Commerce office at 116 East Second. Barbara Lowd-ermilk, chairperson, will conduct the initial meeting to plan an annual agenda.

The Chamber of Commerce is asking retail businesses to be represented.

Extension Homemakers Clubs sponsored a reception for Rex Dollar and Candace Carrie on Thursday, February 12. Carrie has been here a few months, but Dollar was just named the agent for Nevada County. The celebration was held at the Extension office.

The Nevada County Chamber of Commerce coffee was held at Alliance Home Health Care Thursday, February 12. Board members of the Chamber of Commerce, politicians and many others were guests of Rep. Percy Malone and employees of Alliance.
