Nell Dillard HiettPublished Wednesday, October 27, 1999 in the Nevada County PicayuneNell Dillard Hiett of Bossier City, La., passed away Monday morning, October 25, 1999 at Grace Home, a hospice. Mrs. Hiett was born November 25, 1921, in Nevada County. She was a member of Waller Baptist Church. She worked at Rubenstein's for over 20 years as a sales lady. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Paul Hiett, in May 1999. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Paula and Larry Vick of Lake Worth, Fla.; a brother and sister-in-law, M.I. and Beth Dillard of Bella Vista; and two grandchildren, Kathryn Vick and James Robert Vick. Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 28, in the chapel of Hill Crest Funeral Home in Haughton, La., at 11 a.m. with Rev. Lane Moore of Waller Baptist Church and Rev. Tal Webb of Morris Baptist Church officiating. Entombment will follow at Hill Crest Mausoleum in Haughton, a suburb of Bossier City. Pallbearers will be James Robert Vick, James Larry Vick, Bryan Thomson, Marvin Kendrick, Donald Webb and Couch Daniels.
